School Holiday Programs
Only 5 fully-closed weeks a year. Themed all-inclusive programs keep the routine going.
Continuity, predictability, and a rhythm that doesn't fall apart every school holiday.
Long breaks can destabilise children who rely on routine. We close for just 5 weeks a year and run themed School Holiday Programs across the rest of the calendar, so children keep their rhythm and families keep their support.
For families of neurodivergent children, twelve weeks of school holidays a year isn't a break — it's a crisis. Winta's Place closes for only 5 weeks across the whole year, and even inside that window we run themed School Holiday Programs where school still runs at a different pace — all included in your annual fee (with one optional extra-cost camp in March).
Everything that makes School Holiday Programs what it is.
January · Health & Happiness Retreat
A two-week reset after the summer break — team building, inner-peace teachings and outings, nature time, mindfulness, personal-development coaching, movement, and healthy eating and cooking.
March · School Re-wilding Camp
Glamping, canoeing, beaches — always somewhere in nature. This is the one School Holiday Program with its own transport and accommodation cost (carers and food are already included), and the only optional week each year.
July · School Play Production & Rehearsals
A whole week of music, drama, art and staging, culminating in the school production. Every child gets to be seen and celebrated on their own terms.
October · Professions & Community Week
Parents, family friends and community members come in to share what they do. The children also visit hospitals, the fire station, farms and workshops to see how real work actually happens. Parent-teacher meetings sit inside this week.
December · Presentations & End-of-Year Dance
A joyful end-of-year week — presentations to parents, end-of-year dance / prom, celebration of every child's growth, and parent-teacher meetings.
Only 5 fully-closed weeks a year
1 week Easter, 2 weeks Christmas & New Year, 1 week October and 1 week end-of-July. Everything else keeps running.
Five themed weeks, all included in your annual fee
Only 5 fully-closed weeks a year. The rest are open school weeks or one of these themed School Holiday Programs — so children keep their rhythm and parents keep their support.

Health & Happiness Retreat
Two weeks to set the tone for the whole year.
Two powerful weeks where students set goals, define the year ahead and start shaping who they are becoming. Week one is vision and personal development taught in a way children and teens can genuinely understand. Week two integrates real tools for inner peace, emotional regulation, mindfulness, nutrition, nature and deep connection — so everyone starts the year present, clear and confident. These are the things the special-needs community usually misses out on.

Is this the right fit for your family?
We're honest about who each program serves best. If you're not sure, a WhatsApp conversation is the fastest way to find out.
- Families who dread every school holiday
- Working parents who can't take 12 weeks off
- Kids for whom routine is a genuine mental-health input, not a nice-to-have
- Families who still want travel weeks — just without the fee shock
Common questions about School Holiday Programs.
Do I pay extra for School Holiday Program weeks?+
No — they're all-inclusive in the annual school fee. The one exception is the March School Re-wilding Camp, which has its own transport and accommodation cost (carers and food are already covered) and is optional.
Can we still travel as a family?+
Yes. The 5 closed weeks are ideal for family travel. If you travel outside of those, your child's spot stays held for them.
What happens during the closed weeks?+
The school closes, staff genuinely rest, and the space is deep-cleaned. Emergency respite arrangements are discussed case-by-case.
