Admissions

A calm, personal admissions process — not a form.

Places are limited and every family is considered individually. From first WhatsApp message to start date usually takes 2–4 weeks.

The six-step process

Six steps to a place at Winta's Place.

  1. 01

    Contact through WhatsApp

One message starts the conversation. We reply personally, usually the same day, and set up a time to talk properly.

  2. 02

    Parent discussion

A relaxed conversation about your child, your family, what you've tried, what's working and what isn't. No forms, no jargon — just listening.

  3. 03

    Review of your child's needs

We review any assessments, reports, therapy notes and school history you can share — and add our own holistic review of your child's profile.

  4. 04

    Child observation or trial

Your child comes in for a trial — meeting the team, meeting the space, spending time in a real school day at their own pace.

  5. 05

    Suitability decision, together

We're honest about fit. If Winta's Place is right, we say so. If it isn't, we say that too — and help you think about what might be.

  6. 06

    Offer and onboarding

Written offer, start date, ILP kick-off with the team, and a warm welcome into the community.

Information parents may need to provide
  • Any diagnosis reports and past assessments

What happens before your child starts
  • ILP finalised with the team, parents and (where relevant) therapists
